Learning Forward has dedicated a week in April to celebrating high-quality professional learning that changes practice and helps all students. It’s an open invitation for educators at all levels to continue their learning journeys and deepen their knowledge of professional learning best practices. Explore these archives from past weeks to see how we support equitable, sustained funding; highlight resources that support implementation of high-quality professional learning; showcase new tools; and reflect on how the standards have maintained their relevancy over four decades as the bedrock of comprehensive professional learning in schools and systems.
2024 Standards Week Events
On April 22-26, thousands of educators joined us during Standards for Professional Learning Week to learn how standards advance high-quality professional learning, provide solutions to education's toughest challenges, and change practices to improve results for students.
2022 Kickoff Week Events
On April 25-29, Learning Forward celebrated the release of the revised Standards for Professional Learning. Each day featured an opportunity to learn about the revised standards with a panel of professional learning leaders.
2023 Standards Week
April 2023 marks one year since Learning Forward released revised Standards for Professional Learning. Learning Forward has established the last week in April as Standards for Professional Learning Week.
